What you can and can’t do with Printables Studio. Every package includes one of three licenses: Host, Planner or Stationer. This License is part of our Terms of Use.

- Studio: the Printables Studio software file you download.
- Designs: the collections, layouts, artwork and ornaments inside the Studio.
- Printable: a finished, personalized file or print you make with the Studio for a specific event, such as an invitation with your names and date.
- Template: a blank or editable file meant to be personalized by someone else.
2. What every license includes
- A non-exclusive, non-transferable license, for as long as you comply with this License.
- Use of the Studio by you, or by the staff of your business, on your own computers.
- Unlimited Printables and unlimited prints, in any quantity, at home or at any print shop.
- Printables you make are yours to use. The underlying Designs remain the property of TheCodeKeeper LLC.
🥂 Host · Personal License
For couples and families planning their own event.
You may
- Create Printables for your own events and for events of family and friends, with no payment involved.
- Print them at home or at any print shop.
- Send the finished files to your guests by email, messaging apps or social media.
You may not
- Create Printables for paying clients.
- Sell printed or digital stationery made with the Studio.
📋 Planner · Professional License
For wedding and event planners working with clients.
You may
- Everything in the Personal License.
- Create Printables for unlimited client events as part of your planning, styling or design service.
- Deliver finished, personalized files or prints to your clients.
You may not
- Sell Printables as stand-alone products to the public, for example in an online shop or on a marketplace.
🖋️ Stationer · Commercial License
For stationery shops, print shops and online sellers.
You may
- Everything in the Professional License.
- Sell personalized printed or digital stationery made with the Studio, for example custom invitations in your online shop, made to order for each customer.
- Show your own business name in the Studio instead of ours (white-label).
3. What no license allows
- Reselling, sharing, sublicensing, renting or giving away the Studio, its Designs or your download link.
- Selling or giving away Templates made from our Designs, including blank or editable files, on any platform.
- Extracting the Designs to use in other software, or presenting them as your own designs for resale.
- Using the Designs in a logo or trademark.
- Letting people outside your household (Host) or business (Planner, Stationer) use your copy of the Studio.
4. Fonts
The fonts in the Studio are open-source and licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which allows use in personal and commercial printed and digital work. A list is included in your download (FONT-LICENSES.txt).
5. Upgrades, updates and ending the license
- Upgrade to a different license or level at any time by paying the price difference. Email support@thecodekeeper.com.
- Updates: Essentials, Signature and Complete include 12 months of free updates, and Forever includes all future updates. Updates are covered by the same license.
- Ending: the license ends if you break this License or if your order is refunded. You must then stop using the Studio and delete it. Printables you made and used before then, while you complied with this License, remain usable.
